Dr Venables is pleased inform all our patients that he has taken on Dr Tariq Ahmed as a new partner whose principal duties will be in helping to manage the surgery.

Dr Ahmed qualified to practice medicine from the University Of Glasgow School of Medicine in 1985.  He is currently also a Senior Partner at Magna Group Practice where he has been working since 1993.  He is also the Clinical Director of Wentworth1 Primary Care Network (one of six PCN’s in Rotherham) which has over 51,000 patients consisting of seven practices which are:

• Magna Group Practice
• Crown Street Surgery
• High Street Surgery Rawmarsh
• Parkgate Medical Centre
• Rawmarsh Health Centre
• Shakespeare Road Surgery
• York Road Surgery

Please note Dr Venables is not retiring from Crown Street surgery and will continue to work for the foreseeable future.
